To celebrate I'll be uploading a bunch of cool new visuals (tons of new 611 Records goodies), and perhaps some musical treats as well. Beta is dead, like the Laserdisc. This should have been called v:5.0Laserdisc edition, but it didn't fit.

New mixes for you:

theefunklord Lost Mix Part II

These kids are going to be famous. Just wait...

What rhymes with SWAG???
Anyone who knows me personally knows that this is something I've wanted to do for a while, so to see it done with such epic levels of awesomeness makes me proud to announce that I have contacted the original artists and I have the actual song files...SO! I will be making a drum and bass remix. YUP!

My Radio Show

Philly DnB.com

Jive Time Innit has been going strong since the summer and theres's no stopping now. The show has moved back an hour to the 9pm EST time slot each Wednesday night to allow me to get the proper tune selections together for your earholes. Be sure to tune in to PhillyDnB Radio [128k stream] which is broadcasting 24/7..We've got some studio mixes and recordings from past events brought to you by the illest DJs from the 215 and beyond. If you've missed an event, or want to check out the next one, visit PhillyDnB.com for more info and updates.

Respect to Grayfox for putting it together and BIG UPS to the PhillyDnB family and those that have shown support from various corners of the globe...Though I read on Wikipedia (so it MUST be true) that the world is actually spherical, so the "various corners" statement doesn't really make sense..I digress..

T - Shirts | P5 Records.com has new Releases | 611 Records is BACK!

P5 Records

The P5 Records is LIVE! It's been cool working with some of the most talented producers and MCs in the electronic P5 Records scene over the past few months, and I have to say helping to build things from the ground up is something I enjoy. Down Jones, Mason, Feight (F8), Endboss, Khalief Khadafi, Sharpness + Armanni Reign....Plus they have a 12' tall gangsta Purple Abraham Lincoln that gets jiggy at their parties. If you don't know, you will. Dubstep is huge worldwide, and these dudes are pushing the sound forward from right here in our own backyard. Be sure to visit their site for updates, videos, and music downloads which should be available soon.

611 Records

611 RecordsI may be a relatively young dude, but I defintiely remember heading to 611 Records when I first moved to Philly in the late 90's to pick up some Drum and Bass albums and absorb as much of the culture as possible. I grew up with only a handful of friends that knew what Jungle/DnB was, so finding a spot with some pretty cool DJs and people that made the music was kind of epic. After designing some T-shirts for the 2nd arrival of 611 Records this far down the line, I can only smile. Back in 1999 That goofy kid had no idea he'd have a part in the scene...Now he's "all growns up," but unfortunately he's still goofy.°

The Shirts are here! Head over to the 611 site to get yours.

° I skate 'Goofy' too...How fitting.
